Job summary

Golf Galaxy in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Key Carrying Lead to act as in-store expert and drive brand standards while guiding a diverse team. Under the Assistant Store Manager, the Lead delivers the best service to customers and provides direction to teammates.

They must lead by example, be empathetic, and collaborate to differentiate the store. The role focuses on daily operations, coaching, training, and upholding safety and loss-prevention standards to deliver an exceptional shopping experience

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Leads store team and participates in interviews and department tours.
• Builds a people-first culture and mutual trust with teammates.
• Plans 30 days out with guidance from leadership and aligns workforce for daily tasks and events.
• Ensures brand standards, programs and processes are executed daily, with task delegation by priority.
• Assists store leadership with opening/closing, cash handling, and compliance where applicable (e.g., firearms sales).
• Upholds merchandising, presentation standards and inventory replenishment.
• Coaches teammates and supports training, onboarding, and cross-training.
• Maintains loss prevention standards and overall store security.
• Promotes an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and safe.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
