Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Turf Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Golf Course Maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year of budgeting for golf course and landscape departments.
• Minimum 1 year of knowledge of equipment, products, and resources related to golf course operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide agronomic oversight to ensure healthy growth of grasses, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials.
• Supervise chemical applications and records for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee safe operation and maintenance of golf course equipment; plan budget for replacements.
• Maintain the golf course to the highest standards, following guidelines.
• Control expenses and stay within budget.
• Collaborate with the Head Golf Professional to optimize rounds around member play.
• Regularly communicate with members to exceed expectations.
• Train staff in OSHA and safety guidelines; ensure compliance.
• Lead meetings on club operations, maintenance schedules, safety, and environmental concerns.
