Job summary

Sensei Wellness Holdings Inc. seeks a seasoned Golf Course Superintendent to oversee Porcupine Creek’s course maintenance and facilities. You will lead maintenance staff, hire and train teams, and ensure optimal course conditions year-round.

You will work with the Director of Agronomy & Landscape, manage safety, budgeting, and operations, and drive agronomic planning while aligning with Sensei mission and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Knowledge of golf course operations, turf management, and chemical application.
• Experience in employee management.
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team.
• Knowledge of equipment and maintenance, including safety.
• Understanding of golf rules and play methods.
• California driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• QAC/QAL license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Commitment to Sensei mission and wellbeing culture.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage irrigation, pesticides, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with Director of Agronomy & Landscape on maintenance and landscape ops.
• Provide safety and operational training to staff per OSHA and guidelines.
• Train and supervise staff in operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Hire, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Oversee daily operations and project completion.
• Recommend agronomic planning and improvements.
• Maintain staff performance reviews and actions as needed.
• Manage purchasing and invoice processes.
• Budget accountability for department operations.
• Maintain agronomic data logs, climate data, and chemical records.
• Stay updated on technology platforms for maintenance.
• Foster communication and actions from meetings.
• Support staff wellbeing and growth opportunities.
• Lead by example; embody Sensei culture and guest- service standards.
• Adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
