Job summary

Hidden Valley Country Club in the Roanoke/Salem area is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent with strong leadership and communication skills to direct daily maintenance operations, coordinate with ownership and members, and lead a team in improving the golf course.

The successful candidate will develop and manage the maintenance budget, oversee agronomic plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive long-range improvements while maintaining a safe, positive environment for staff and members.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience directing staff and coordinating with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the staff to complete daily activities.
• Communicate daily course conditions to the Pro Shop staff.
• Conduct weekly course rides with the GM and attend staff meetings.
• Develop and track the maintenance budget and agronomic plan.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Plan and direct projects identified in the Long-Range Plan of Improvements.
• Maintain Maintenance Standards plan for the course.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and staff.
• Obtain Virginia Pesticide Applicators License within 30 days.
