Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent for Carolina National Golf Club. The role manages all agronomy for the course, property, and club house grounds with a focus on BMPs, budgeting, and team leadership.

The position offers a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holiday pay. Requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent in agronomy/horticulture with relevant experience and state pesticide license within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in agronomy/horticulture/plant/soil science or equivalent.
• Three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
• Degree preference in agronomy/horticulture/plant/soil science.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage BMPs for golf course, property and club house grounds.
• Develop an annual agronomic budget and a 12-month plan with labor and operational budgets.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage a strong property maintenance team.
• Ensure irrigation systems, chemicals, and fertilizers are handled per regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with department heads and manage deadlines and records.
