Golf Course Superintendent

Golf resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview

Lead Team Members within the department, including but not limited to the general golf course Maintenance team.

Duties

• Assist in all aspects of day-to-day care and maintenance of golf course grounds and irrigation systems, including mowing, edging, mulching, planting, trimming, and shoveling.
• Participate in and recommend hiring of golf course team members and provide support including training and performance appraisals.
• Make decisions related to chemical applications and purchase of necessary products for golf course maintenance.
• Assist with purchasing; inventory supplies and assist with project management and priorities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent for a minimum of 2 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Agronomic and turf grass techniques.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
