Job summary

The City of Arvada seeks a friendly, reliable golf course marshal/starter to keep tee times moving smoothly and ensure players follow course rules. You will represent the facility professionally while driving carts, assisting supervisors, and helping with general course operations.

Preferred candidates are 18+ with a valid driver's license, willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and the ability to communicate effectively with players and staff in a courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform starter duties on tee box.
• Marshal on course and assist supervisor as needed.
• Start golfers and check turn times.
• Patrol courses to maintain pace of play and ensure rules are followed.
• Stage golf carts as needed.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Clean and maintain exterior restrooms and water stations.
• Travel between work locations using a City vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
