Job summary

City of Arvada is seeking an Outside Services - Player Assistant/Starter at Lake Arbor Golf Club. This temporary, variable-hour role supports tee-time efficiency, enforces course rules, and enhances the player experience on the golf course.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Previous golf course experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform starter duties on tee box and marshal on course to manage tee times and pace of play.
• Start golfers, check turn times, and enforce course rules.
• Stage golf carts and assist supervisors as needed.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Keep exterior restrooms and water stations clean and stocked.
• Operate a City vehicle as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
