Responsibilities

Starts players on the first tee explaining the rules of play for the day.
Maintains an accurate starting sheet so the whereabouts of players are known.
Cues groups to move to the first tee and ensures not more than one group on the tee at a time.
Tours the golf course assisting players to maintain posted pace of play.
Checks restrooms and water stations on a regular schedule.
Maintains proper spacing on the course to avoid delays.
Completes the golfer tracking report daily.
Reminds players of cart rules for the day.
Repairs ball marks and collects trash; replaces hazard stakes or signage.
Communicates with Golf Shop and Starter regularly.
Monitors the course and assists golfers; reports problems to Head Professional.
