Job summary

Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club in Surprise, AZ, is seeking a full-time Outside Services Attendant to help deliver a positive guest experience and support golf operations as part of Troon.

The role involves assisting with clubhouse and cart areas, setting up tournaments, cleaning clubs, handling bags, maintaining cart and range areas, and guiding players on course policies while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; and six months to a year customer service experience or training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides courteous service to guests with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains cart staging area, podium and bag drop area in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Prepares golf carts for play following Troon standards.
• Educates players on course policy, cart policy and pace of play.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes when needed.
• Performs range maintenance and maintains practice facility supplies.
• Directs start of play when necessary.
• Keeps accurate records of golfers renting clubs and cleans rental clubs on return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs after play and follows safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as required.
