Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Laborer to help maintain a high-quality golf course. You will mow greens, tees, and collars, rake bunkers, and edge paths and drains to ensure a safe, pristine playing surface.

Youll operate light equipment, haul materials, and assist in grading and planting for new greens, tees, and fairways, contributing to the course’s ongoing upkeep and our guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Proven customer service experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with operating light equipment like mowers and trimmers.

Responsibilities

• Mow greens, tees, and collars to maintain turf quality.
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers for optimal playability.
• Edge cart paths, bunkers, sprinkler heads, and drains.
• Operate light equipment to haul materials and remove debris.
• Assist in construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, soil prep, and planting.

Position Summary:

The Golf Course Maintenance Laborer is responsible for performing routine manual tasks essential for maintaining the golf course's quality and appearance. Duties include mowing greens, tees, and collars, as well as maintaining sand bunkers through raking. This role also involves edging cart paths, bunkers, sprinkler heads, and drains, ensuring a clean and safe environment for players. Operating light equipment for material hauling and debris removal is also required. Additionally, the position involves assisting in the construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by helping with grading, soil preparation, and planting.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with operating light equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Constantly stand, walk, push, pull, lift grasp, bend and kneel; Frequently use arms and hands
• Manual dexterity for using golf equipment
• Clear vision and hearing to communicate effectively
• Capability to lift up and carry up to 20 pounds
