Job summary

Esplanade at St Marys, located in St Marys, GA, is seeking a full-time Assistant Superintendent. You will oversee maintenance and construction of the golf course, ensuring turf is maintained to standards while collaborating with the Superintendent on budgets and capital plans.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating procurement, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Bachelor's degree and 3–4 years related experience preferred, with agronomy/ horticulture focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3–4 years related experience or training (degree preference in agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/soil science).
• Proven supervisory and budget planning abilities.
• Strong English communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and construction of the golf course and ensures turf grass is maintained to standards.
• Works with Superintendent on budget and capital plans.
• Supervises maintenance staff and procurement of supplies within budget.
