Golf Course Mechanic | Lakeside Country Club

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Golf Course Mechanic for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club in Austin, TX. This role involves ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of golf and grounds maintenance equipment.

Barton Creek Lakeside, 1800 Clubhouse Hill Dr, Spicewood, TX, 78669

Responsibilities

1. Assist with maintenance and repair of gasoline and diesel-powered golf equipment.
2. Implement and contribute to a preventative maintenance program.
3. Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical defects in golf and grounds maintenance equipment.
4. Maintain accurate service and repair records for each piece of machinery.
5. Ensure maintenance equipment is fueled, oiled, and inspected regularly.
6. Set up and modify new equipment as needed.

Qualifications

1. Degree or certificate in a mechanical field from a college or vocational school.
2. Ability to work in various weather conditions while repairing equipment.
3. Knowledge of proper recycling and disposal of hazardous shop fluids.
4. Proficiency with welding and fabrication equipment.
5. Valid driver’s license.
6. Minimum of 2 years of mechanic experience with small engine repairs preferred.
