Sun Communities is seeking a Golf Course Marshal to patrol the course, keep pace of play, assist golfers, and report maintenance issues as needed.

The role includes monitoring pace, locating errant balls, setting up the course each morning, greeting residents and guests, promoting safety and enjoyment, and ensuring dress-code compliance. A High School Diploma or GED is required; a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months knowledge of operating and maintaining electric golf carts, chargers and compressors preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet use.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• General knowledge of golf course etiquette and rules.
• Professional appearance.

• Monitors the pace of place and reduces distractions (Essential)
• Locates and protects errant golf balls (Essential)
• Sets up the course in the morning (Essential)
• Communicates with residents and guests of the golf course in a friendly and courteous manner (Essential)
• Promotes safety and enjoyment of the spectators (Essential)
• Fills divots with seed mixture and fixes ball marks on the greens (Essential)
• Ensures all residents and guests adhere to the golf course dress code
• Markets the golf course, membership and special rates to the daily fee players
• Other duties as assigned
