Job summary

The Mauna Lani Auberge Collection is hiring for a Golf Course Maintenance II/III position. The base salary for this role is $26.69 per hour. Under supervision, you will operate mowing and other equipment to maintain fairways, greens, and surrounding areas.

We require three years of turf and ornamental maintenance experience, a Hawaii driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED (preferred). This on-site role offers outdoor work in varied weather and physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• Three years turf and ornamental maintenance experience is required.
• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required; Hawaii driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various mowers and power equipment to maintain fairways, roughs, putting greens, and other course areas.
• Operate specialized equipment such as mechanical loaders, backhoe units, hydro-mulchers, and vertidrains.
• Assist with lower classification tasks and sod laying on greens and tees.
• Support irrigation system maintenance under supervision.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting up to 80 pounds and pushing/pulling equipment up to 100 pounds.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and guests.
• Demonstrate ability to work in various physical positions and detect malfunctioning equipment.

Education

Three years turf and ornamental maintenance experience

High School diploma or GED (preferred)

Hawaii State driver’s license
