Forsyth County Parks and Recreation seeks an energetic Assistant Golf Course Supervisor to work with the Golf Course Supervisor in planning and executing maintenance at one or more courses. You will train and supervise staff, monitor course conditions, pests, irrigation, and plan future projects.

• Graduation from high school or GED and four years of relevant experience.
• Associates degree in turf management and two years of relevant experience.
• Must have experience leading the work of others.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects golf courses for stresses and determines appropriate corrective action.
• Trains staff in proper methods and techniques of golf course maintenance and safety.
• Assists in developing the golf maintenance budget.
• Performs the full range of supervisory duties for the golf maintenance crew.
• Obtains price quotes on equipment, supplies and services.
• Acts as crew leader for various special projects.
