Barren River Lake State Resort Park is seeking a Golf Course Assistant Superintendent to manage agronomic operations and staff across the 18-hole course, with emphasis on budgeting, chemical programs, and equipment maintenance. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years experience on a golf maintenance staff for a regulation golf course.
• Associate's degree in plant sciences or Turfgrass Management certificate can substitute for ONE of the two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Golf Course Superintendent in all phases and agronomic operations on the golf course.
• Assist in developing long term plans, budgeting plans, and chemical programs.
• Lead staff in projects and routine maintenance activities.
• Irrigation repair, installation, and application to turf.
• Calibrate and operate equipment to apply chemicals and fertilizers.
