Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf, through Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mount Wolf, PA, is hiring a full-time, hourly 2nd Assistant Superintendent to oversee turf maintenance and construction for the 18-hole course. The role offers a full benefits package and a pay rate of $20.00–$24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include budgeting with the superintendent, supervising staff, planning greens and bunkers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Degree preference in agronomy, horticulture, plant or soil science.
• Must be physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and construction of an 18-hole golf course to standards.
• Works with Superintendent to manage annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Supervises maintenance staff in daily duties.
• Plans upkeep and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers.
• Ensures grounds equipment is properly maintained.
• Maintains course in proper playing condition.
• Ensures licenses for associates comply with regulations.
• Participates in snow removal and safe work practices.
• Completes background checks as a condition of employment.
