Job summary

Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA invites interested students to join the golf course maintenance team as interns. You’ll work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent on both courses, learning mower heights, irrigation, and basic repair tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a Turfgrass Management program.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain golf course conditions on both courses.
• Learn mower height settings, reel grinding, oil changes, and general repair tasks in the mechanic's shop.
• Assist Superintendent with irrigation and moisture management.
• Operate course maintenance equipment and apply sprays as directed.
