Job summary

Newport Beach Country Club is a private golf facility seeking a Greenskeeper I to join our outdoor maintenance team. The role involves learning greens upkeep, cup changing, mowing, and routine landscaping tasks on an 18-hole course with ocean views.

You will work with a management team to maintain equipment, assist in aerification and drainage projects, and promote safe, environmentally responsible practices on site.

Qualifications

• Interest in outdoor work and pride in quality maintenance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team on course upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Learn basics of golf course setup including cup and tee alignment.
• Operate light powered equipment to mow greens, tees and rough.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as raking bunkers, edging and pruning.
• Assist in aerification, top dressing and drainage projects.
• Support safety and environmental practices on site.
