Job summary

The Divide Golf Club in Matthews, NC is hiring full-time and part-time golf course maintenance staff to work under the Director of Agronomy and Assistant Superintendent. You will perform routine manual labor, operate tractors and mowing equipment, and support irrigation repairs.

Key duties include loading equipment, raking traps, seeding and sod work, and maintaining safe conditions. A valid driver's license is required, and weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old or older and have a valid driver's license.
• Under 18 years old, must have a youth employment certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and services small mowing and trimming equipment, utility vehicles, and other motorized equipment.
• Manually loads and unloads trucks and trailers.
• Rakes all traps.
• Plants seeds and lays sod.
• Expose underground irrigation components for repair and fills and levels holes.
• Able to walk-mow greens as needed or requested.
• Holds a valid driver's license.
• Able to work weekends as needed or requested.
• Performs other related responsibilities as required or assigned.
• Always maintains safe working conditions.

This includes operating powered maintenance equipment such as tractors and mowing equipment and does related work.

Pay Range and Benefits:

• Starting $15 Per Hour
• Flexible schedule, golf privileges and range privileges with certain restrictions.
