Job summary

Thetraditiongolfclub in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking candidates for Grounds Maintenance positions. Responsibilities include routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and irrigation work. The roles can be full-time or part-time with various benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual labor in golf course maintenance.
• Mow and trim grass, rake bunkers, and maintain irrigation systems.
• Assist in landscaping and general project work.

Job description

Positions include:

• Grounds Maintenance I
• Grounds Maintenance II
• Grounds Maintenance III

Basic Functions:

Under the direction of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or Golf Course Foreman; performs routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance. Operates powered equipment as required and as experience allows. Duties will include, but not limited to, mowing and trimming, raking bunkers, working on irrigation/drainage as well as landscaping, project work and general maintenance.

Experience:

Working knowledge of maintenance/grounds/mowing related equipment, physical strength and experience with hand and power tools. Must have a valid driver’s license. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Environment:

Outside working conditions a majority of the time in a variety of weather conditions.

Position Benefits:

• Full Time and Part Time Available.
• Hourly Range $12.00 – $18.00 DOE.
