MTI Distributing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Irrigation Sales Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and support irrigation control systems for golf courses and commercial customers. This role blends technical expertise with customer service in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of irrigation systems experience.
• Experience troubleshooting irrigation controllers and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair irrigation control systems, controllers, and low-voltage networks.
• Perform onsite inspections, service calls, and system audits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Provide remote and field technical support to customers.
• Collaborate with golf course staff and contractors to resolve issues.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers.
