Job summary

Findlay Country Club in Findlay, OH is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our maintenance team. Under supervision, you will operate tractors, mowers, spreaders and other equipment to maintain tees, fairways and greens, perform routine manual labor and assist in semi-skilled grounds construction.

The role requires lifting 50+ lbs, early mornings and weekend work, adherence to club policies, and careful attention to detail to support playing conditions and course safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of golf course maintenance equipment and safe operation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers and string trimmers to maintain greens, tees and fairways.
• Operate front-deck mower, spreader, top-dresser and other equipment as directed.
• Mow greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees and other areas.
• Edge, rake and maintain sand bunkers.
• Aerify greens, verticut tees/greens, spike greens and operate spray rigs.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and report problems.
• Clean equipment daily and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Return equipment to designated locations and maintain the work area.
