Job summary

University of Findlay is seeking a part-time, non-benefited, 12-month position responsible for the maintenance of athletic facilities, campus grounds and other university property, trash collection and general upkeep. The role includes mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and supervising student workers.

A High school diploma is required; possession of a CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement is preferred. The work hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Some grounds and equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and trimming of grounds.
• Landscape maintenance including fertilizer application.
• Snow removal.
• Equipment/vehicle maintenance.
• Trash pickup.
• Supervising and planning work for student and summer helpers.
• Irrigation system management and athletic field maintenance.
• Flower maintenance and campus transportation tasks.
