Job summary

City of Big Spring is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to keep golf course grounds clean and safe. You will perform custodial duties in the pro shop and restrooms, assist with ball pickup on the driving range, and manage golf carts and related facilities.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing, and a valid Texas driver’s license, with shift hours varying by season. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of similar grounds or custodial work preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial operations on golf course grounds and buildings.
• Maintain golf course and pick balls from driving range.
• Pull out, clean, and store carts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
