Job summary

FirstService Residential in New York is seeking a golf course maintenance worker to prepare and maintain greens, fairways, and other surfaces, ensuring compliance with golfing regulations.

You will operate mowing and other maintenance equipment, drive utility vehicles, and maintain the grounds to keep the course looking its best. A valid driver’s license is required, with 1 year of grounds/landscaping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior landscape maintenance or golf course maintenance experience (plus but not required).
• Possess a general understanding of golf course maintenance experience (plus but not required).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).
• Have reliable transportation and be on time for work.
• Ability to complete tasks on time and in coordination with other crew members.
• Follow instructions and directions set forth by the Superintendent.
• Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Occupations: 1 year (Required).

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment.
• Operates utility vehicles and small trucks.
• Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions.
• Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use; maintain flower beds and landscaping.
• Work in outdoor conditions while operating golf course maintenance equipment.
• May participate in meetings and follow safety and SOPs as instructed.
• Maintain safety precautions and adhere to management policies.
