Job summary

The Peoria Park District is seeking a part-time Golf Course Maintenance Staff member to maintain park grounds. Responsibilities include mowing with mowers, trimming, litter pickup, restroom cleaning, flower bed care, and equipment maintenance, while following safety procedures and reporting incidents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus experience with trucks, tractors, and mowing machinery. A flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating trucks, tractors, mowing equipment, and related machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns with push or riding mowers.
• Trim with power weed trimmers and clean public restrooms.
• Plant and maintain flower beds, water and weed.
• Report vandalism or incidents immediately to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and support the safety program.
