Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh is hiring for a Grounds Crew at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. The role entails assisting with daily maintenance, landscaping, mowing, and turf care to ensure high-quality playing conditions.

You will work 6:00am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend participation, and must be able to perform physically demanding outdoor labor. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and may require licenses such as NC Pesticide and CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• North Carolina Pesticide License may be required and can be obtained within six months.
• North Carolina Commercial Driver’s License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of golf course groundskeeping.
• Perform landscaping, sodding, and general course upkeep.
• Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment.
• Complete daily assignments independently and according to work schedules.
