Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a Groundskeeper for the City of Freeport's golf course. The role involves routine manual labor, landscape maintenance, and operation of tractors, mowers, and loaders. Duties include setting tee markers, maintaining equipment, and caring for greens and tees under supervision.

The position requires 18+ years of age, dependable transportation, and a Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 90 days. Preference for a High School Diploma or GED and some college.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Some College preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular and timely attendance at work is required.
• Operates mowers and string trimmers used in maintaining the grounds.
• Set tee markers and cups on greens daily; maintain ball washers; replace tee, towels, and flags when needed and clean flowerbeds.
• Maintain fuel and fluids in all equipment daily and report problems or failures to supervisor immediately.
• Keep all equipment and tools clean.
• Water and fertilize tees, greens, and fairways and landscape areas under supervision.
