Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a groundsmaintenance professional to maintain all grounds, including plants, lawns, ponds, irrigation, and related facilities. The role covers snow removal and safe operation of all equipment to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

You will be involved in bed preparation, planting, irrigation, and chemical applications for lawns and flower beds, plus ongoing maintenance of walkways and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Basic golf play understanding and course etiquette preferred.
• Must possess a valid Missouri “E” or Arkansas “P” driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting, trimming, seeding, irrigation and chemical application of lawn areas.
• Bed preparation, planting, weeding, irrigation and chemical application of flower beds.
• Clean debris, remove snow/ice, spread sand/ice melt and maintain walkways and parking areas.
• Tree maintenance including trimming, removal and irrigation.
• Irrigation system maintenance, repairs and winterization.
• Maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
• Keep supervisor informed of equipment and supply needs.
• Respond to guest questions about the golf course and facilities as required.
• Report problems promptly for corrective action.
• Maintain fairways, greens and sand traps according to golf standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
