Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri is seeking a Groundskeeper to perform maintenance and upkeep of all grounds, including lawns, trees, ponds, irrigation systems, and snow/ice removal, while safely operating equipment to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include bed preparation and planting, weed control, flower bed care, debris removal, and maintenance of walkways and parking areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of golf play and course etiquette preferred.
• Valid Missouri E or Arkansas P driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting, trimming, seeding, irrigation and chemical application of all lawn areas.
• Prepare beds, plant, weed, irrigate and apply chemicals in flower beds and planting areas.
• Clean debris, remove snow, spread sand and ice melt; maintain walkways, trails, drives and parking areas.
• Maintain trees, including trimming, removal and irrigation.
• Maintain, repair and winterize irrigation systems.
• Maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
• Keep supervisor informed of equipment and supply needs.
• Respond to guest questions about the Golf Course and facilities as required.
• Ensure upkeep of fairways, greens and sand traps according to golf standards.
