Glenview Golf Course in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Groundskeeping Foreman to lead maintenance operations and supervise a small crew. You will oversee equipment operation, irrigation repair, and golf course condition inspections on a routine basis.

Responsibilities include opening the maintenance shop, supervising tasks in the absence of the superintendent, and ensuring safe, efficient work. The role requires outdoor work, long hours, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system.
• Knowledge of agronomy, turf grass science and the rules of golf.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions.

• Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system, including automatic valves and controllers and various types of pumps and pumping systems
• Knowledge of agronomy, turf grass science and the rules of gol

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arm

The employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or control

The employee will occasionally be required to balance, stoop, twist upper body, kneel, and climb

Physical Demands:

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally

Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
