Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Equipment Technician for Barton Creek Country Club, a premier private club in Texas. The role emphasizes maintaining and repairing golf course equipment, recording parts and labor, and ensuring safe, well-functioning gear for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from a college or technical school, or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Personal education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment.
• Properly communicates any needs or problems relating to equipment needs with the Equipment Manager.
• Places safety as a top priority and maintains a clean service area and maintenance building.
• Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work.
• Spot checks equipment for performance on the course, frequently making emergency repairs to equipment on the course, and services or supervises servicing of equipment prior to use.
