Job summary

Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a motivated, part-time Golf Course Equipment Operator to support daily course maintenance and guest experience. As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Operate motorized equipment, care for greens and landscaping, and help maintain irrigation and grounds. Previous groundskeeping experience is preferred but not required; reliable individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Golf course maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Knowledge of grounds tools, methods and materials.
• Ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
• Ability to give oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and ground prep.
• Dependable and safety‑minded.

Responsibilities

• Operates motorized vehicles.
• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing togrow their knowledge of golf club operations. Responsibilities:

• Operates motorized vehicles
• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility

Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations

Ability to give oral and written instructions

Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation

Must be dependable
