Job summary

The Lakes at El Segundo, part of Troon, is seeking a Full-Time Mechanic to maintain golf course equipment and power systems. You will perform major and mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel equipment, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support preventative maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate has a technical certificate or 3–6 months of related experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
• Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in golf course equipment.
• Maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, parts ordered.
• Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of light and heavy construction and maintenance equipment.
