Job summary

The Lakes at El Segundo, a Troon property, is seeking a Full-Time Mechanic in El Segundo, CA. You will perform major repairs on gasoline and diesel equipment and maintain a preventive maintenance program to keep the fleet in optimal condition.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, ordering parts, maintaining records, and adhering to safety guidelines. The role requires a certificate or related training and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs major and mechanical repairs on a variety of gasoline and diesel power equipment.
• Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
• Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in equipment.
• Places orders for parts/supplies as needed for equipment or service.
• Maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, parts ordered.
• Covers safety practices in job performance.
