Job summary

Lakewood National Golf Course in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Golf Course Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines. The successful candidate will work hands-on, troubleshoot equipment, and support the maintenance team to keep the course running at peak standards.

Requirements include a college or technical school certificate, or 3–6 months of relevant experience; a valid driver's license and a mechanics certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Responsibilities

• Overhauls and repairs maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment and other power equipment.
• Lubricates and services all equipment.
• Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies and makes routine adjustments where necessary.
• Maintains up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs and their components.
• Inspects, changes and repairs tires.
• Assists in training the maintenance staff in the proper care and upkeep of the golf course equipment.
