Job summary

City of Largo is hiring a Grounds Equipment Mechanic for the Largo Golf Course. You will repair and maintain light-duty gasoline and diesel equipment used on city facilities and the municipal golf course, working independently within guidelines.

The role requires diagnosing hydraulics, brakes, engines, and electrical systems; performing preventive maintenance and minor welding; and following safety standards. A valid Florida license is required, with emergency response duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years' maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of small engines and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to operate field equipment.

Responsibilities
