Job summary

Legends Golf and Country Club in Clermont, FL is hiring a Full-Time Mechanic. You will perform major repairs on gasoline and diesel equipment, maintain preventive maintenance, and manage parts with budget awareness.

The role requires hands-on experience with John Deere turf or construction equipment, a college/technical certificate or equivalent training, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive annual pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing John Deere agricultural, turf, or construction equipment.
• Certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel power equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance area and document work.
• Order parts and track expenses for budget purposes.
• Inspect and repair mower reels, engines, braking systems, and related components.
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance and parts used.
