Job summary

Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District is seeking a Golf Course Chemical Applicator to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and plant care products under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent. You will assist with turf care and other maintenance tasks as part of the golf maintenance team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of golf maintenance experience, with licensing in pesticides within six months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1 year golf maintenance experience preferred.
• Must obtain Colorado Pesticide Applicators License within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and plant care products as directed by the Superintendent.
• Follow state and federal guidelines for applicator safety and environmental protection.
• Calculate and execute tank mixing and application rates as directed.
• Clean and maintain spraying equipment and work area.
• Keep accurate records as required by district and state agencies.
• Operate golf maintenance equipment (top dressers, aerators, seeders, mowers).
• Work to ensure guest traffic suitability of the course and surroundings.
