Job summary

Oxford Greens in Oxford, CT is seeking a bartender to provide exceptional beverage service for our restaurant patrons, golf events, and meetings at the golf course.

You will mix cocktails, pour wine and beer, handle cash and POS, check IDs, and maintain a clean, welcoming bar area. This role requires team collaboration, professionalism, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience bartending preferred.
• Knowledge of alcohol laws and ID checks.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Accurately process orders and handle cash and POS transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies.
• Check guest IDs and ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations.
• Monitor guest consumption and act responsibly to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and management to keep service running smoothly.
• Open and/or close the bar as scheduled, including setup and breakdown.
