Job summary

Gulfshoresal in Norman, OK is seeking staff to operate golf course equipment and perform range maintenance. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to endure outdoor conditions in all weather. You will be trained to operate tractors, ball-pickup machines, and golf carts.

Responsibilities include retrieving balls, washing carts, custodial duties, and keeping areas clean and organized. Must be at least 16 years old and able to work outdoors year-round.

Job description

Work Period:

No fixed schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Ability to learn to operate tractor, golf ball pick-up machine, and electric and gasoline golf carts.

Skills:

Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with the public. Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.

Essential Functions:

Operate tractor and golf ball pick-up machine. Retrieve range balls, range ball baskets, and pull carts. Pull golf carts from barn and park in designated area. Wash golf carts and range golf balls. Perform custodial and other related duties as required.

Working Conditions:

Most of the work is performed outdoors in inclement weather and during all seasons. Frequent exposure of up to 80% of work time to dirt, dust, extreme weather conditions, noise, and noxious fumes and odors.
