Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Golf Club Technician to perform club repairs including re-gripping and loft/lie adjustments, and to conduct club fittings with our fitting equipment.

You will manage customer service workflows, promote warranty and loyalty programs, and maintain accurate service inventory while ensuring high standards of service and store safety.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of club fitting, loft/lie adjustment and/or re-gripping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs golf club repairs, including re-gripping, loft and lie adjustments.
• Performs club fitting and performance modifications through use of club fitting equipment.
• Manages workflow for all customer services including establishing turn-around times.
• Promotes Company programs including Warranty Sales, Scorecard, Private Label Credit Card, etc.
• Manages golf service supply inventory by accurately tracking shop usage.
• Completes, organizes and stores all customers’ work orders.
• Provides a high level of customer service by centering the customer in all actions.
• Upholds Company standards for merchandise presentation and inventory levels.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows loss prevention standards.
• Adheres to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; maintains cleanliness standards.
• Creates an inclusive in-store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Takes an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
