Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, AZ, seeks a Part-Time First Tee Host to coordinate guest flow onto the golf course and provide hospitality information for a safe, enjoyable experience. Reports to the Head Golf Professional and works in an outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Similar customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors about task tasks and responsibilities.
• Desire to contribute to a productive work environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be self-motivated, follow directions and work independently with little supervision.
• Must demonstrate initiative and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of guests onto the golf course and provide hospitality information.
• Check in with the manager on duty to learn day’s activities and course conditions.
• Set up the welcome area and ensure equipment is ready.
• Welcome guests and provide information about golf carts, GPS, hazards, and out-of-play areas.
• Maintain a friendly, name-based interaction with guests.
• Record tee times, cart numbers, and players’ names.
• Keep the area clean and restock amenities between groups.
• Communicate with other team members about schedule changes and information.
