Job summary

White Plains Golf Club in Pageland, SC is seeking a highly motivated General Manager to lead golf operations, guest experience, financial performance, staff development and community engagement. The role reports to Troon and guides the overall operation of the facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, clear communication, and a track record of managing budgets and staff, with flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Prefer minimum 5 years related experience as General Manager at a club.
• Four-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and monitors annual budget, revenue goals and expenses and forecasts.
• Monitors financial reports and takes corrective action as needed.
• Oversees HR policies and staff training, development, and performance.
• Develops an organizational plan and coordinates improvements.
• Coordinates marketing programs to promote services to customers.
• Directly manages department members and ensures onboarding for new associates.
