Job summary

Kenton County Golf Courses in Independence, KY is seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations. Working as part of Troon, you will help lead a hospitality-focused property and coordinate policies under the ownership’s direction.

The role requires supervisory experience, PGA qualifications, and a strong business mindset with excellent customer service. Benefits include healthcare, retirement, PTO, and bonuses as part of a comprehensive compensation

Qualifications

PGA Membership or PGA registered apprentice in good standing.
Supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience.
Experience in total golf facility management.
Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, and POS systems.
Working knowledge of club accounting.
Strong business aptitude and passion for golf.

Responsibilities

Direct and administer all aspects of operations.
Coordinate and administer policies and procedures as defined by ownership.
Hire, develop, and supervise all key management staff.
Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
Produce daily reports related to rounds, sales, and other metrics for management.
Coordinate play and monitor pace of play, safety, and course markings.
Provide customer service to arriving guests to speed check-in.
Assist in cash and AR reconciliation to the daily register.
