Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Laguna Niguel, CA is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Golf Services Attendant. You will provide bag, golf car and range services to members and guests, ensuring carts are ready and maintained on site.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and dependable attendance. You will help with bag loading, cart movement, range duties, equipment cleaning, and assisting the Pro Shop as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Provide bag, golf car and range services to members and guests.

Job Tasks/Duties Regularly Performed

• Brings golf carts from cart barn to car staging area outside Pro Shop; checks golf carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety considerations.
• Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf carts.
• Completes driving range tasks as assigned.
• Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.
• Returns golf carts to cart barn; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf cart, parks car in cart barn and connects charger cable.
• Advices Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found.
• Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Outside Services Supervisor.

Licenses and Special Requirements

Valid driver’s license.

Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience Preferred

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
