Job summary

Wailea Golf LLC in Kihei, HI is seeking a Golf Cart Mechanic to perform general repair and preventative maintenance on electric and gas golf carts. You will diagnose issues, service battery chargers, and keep carts in safe operating condition on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• 2-3 years’ experience in mechanic repair and preventative maintenance.
• Previous golf cart repair and maintenance experience is helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repair and preventative maintenance of all golf carts, keeping them safe and operational.
• Repairs and adjusts brakes, changes tires and seats, performs diagnostics and repairs battery chargers.
• Welds broken parts for reinforcement when needed.
• Replenishes water in batteries and checks charge output with a voltmeter.
• Operates a two-way radio to monitor cart breakdown on the course.
• Delivers high levels of customer service per the company handbook.
• Observes safety rules and housekeeping practices.
