Job summary

Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort is seeking an outgoing, customer-focused team member for the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. You will ensure guests have an outstanding golfing experience and care about their lives.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, transporting bags, stocking carts, and promoting the resort's amenities. Requirements include weekend availability and the ability to perform manual labor in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have weekend and/or Monday availability.
• Candidates must be able to perform arduous manual labor of varying degrees in varying weather conditions.
• Golf experience - 6 months or more

Responsibilities

• Greet all golfers and assist in transporting golf bags to and from carts.
• Maintain and stock carts with score cards, pencils, ice, sand, etc., before each round.
• Ensure prompt opening and closing of the facility.
• Provide superior customer service to all guests and staff; greet and welcome all patrons.
• Cross-promote other Palmetto Dunes amenities to guests.
• Keep a neat work area: bag drop, driving range, cart barn, staging area, bag room, parking lot.
• Maintain and improve course markings and greenside amenities.

We are looking for an outgoing, customer focused individual to join our team at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. This position is responsible for ensuring that our customers have an outstanding golfing experience at the the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. Your top priority will be to care about our guests, and the impact we make on their lives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• You will help live out our company's Noble Purpose by ensuring we care about our guests and the impact we make on their lives.


• When interacting with each guest, leave them with a \"WOW\" story to tell about their experience.


• Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management


• Ensure prompt opening and closing of the facility.


• Provide superior customer service to all members, guests and staff. Greet and welcome all patrons to facility.


• Serve as a source of information for the guests and put them at ease. Cross promotion of other Company amenities at every opportunity.


• Greet all golfers and assist in transporting golf bags to and from cars and golf cart.


• Maintain fleet of golf carts daily that has a clean and neat appearance. Responsible to stock carts with score cards, pencil, ice, sand, etc. before each round.


• Responsible for excellent presentation of the work area to include: bag drop, driving range, cart barn, staging area, bag room and parking lot. (If you see it, pick it up.)


• Responsible for range ball maintenance and distribution of clean, range balls to guests.


• Maintain and improve condition of the course and course markings, i.e. pick up butts and straighten hazard stakes.


• Service members and guests after the round with above and beyond effort and prepare the returned cart for another round and return to the barn for charging.


• Help group coordinators and fellow staff members to prepare for all groups.


• Maintain proper dress code and present a pleasant attitude at all times.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

• Must have weekend and/or Monday availability


• Candidates must be able to perform sometime arduous manual labor of varying degrees in varying weather conditions.
